Andani

ANDANI MAKHADO Managing Director: Projects

(AACPM-A272) (ASACPCMP-B/784/2009) (GBCSA) Msc Construction Management (BHAM UK) N.Dip (Building), BTech (Construction Management), Certificate (Project Management)

Andani holds a Masters of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Birmingham in The United Kingdom with a major in Sustainable Construction and the construction and management of Green Buildings. She holds National Diploma and a Bachelors Technical Degree (construction management) from the Tshwane University of Technology Pretoria; Andani has gained considerable experience as a Construction Site Engineer on several building contracts with Group 5 Building (Pty) Ltd where she served for six years, before moving to Rainbow Construction where she worked in the same capacity. She has worked as a site engineer on a number of large scale buildings, and has developed in the industry into Project and Programme Management, before working for MDSA Construction and Project Managers and later at BKS Engineering and management respectively as a Project Manager.Ms Makhado has ample experience in the project management of inner city, and civil structures, specialising in construction of office structures, retail structures, space planning, Revamps, PPP advisory services and relocation.

She is also a construction site safety specialist. She has recently taken severe interest in municipal IDP and LED as well as Turnaround Strategies in infrastructure and the project managing thereof.

Her experience in project and construction management, facilities management as well as quantity survey includes the management of site safety, quality assurance and documentation. Andani holds membership with the Council for Professional Construction Project Managers as well as the Association of Construction Project Managers. Andani single handed opened BONO doors in June 2008 with the first projects of Interior Architect to the Library at the Union Building (The Presidency), as well the Vodacom Foundation, renovating and building dilapidated rural schools. She has worked on and has personally been directly involved in the completion of all projects completed and managed by Bono. She has special interest in the implementation of green construction.

Andani continues to contribute to the industry by working as a full time lecturer to the Building department at the Tshwane University of Technology. She has passion in ensuring Bono becomes a vehicle company that thrives on motivating and training students from Technology Institutes and Universities, ensuring they are hired and trained whilst awaiting other employment. She also serves as a motivational speaker to women as well as youth encouraging them to be involved in the industry that has enriched her.

Desire

DESIRÉ WETDEWICH Project Administrator

Desiré is currently in the process of obtaining her National Diploma in Office Administration. She is aspiring to become a Project Manager; her next goal is to study Project Management. Her previous experience includes working for Khoele Projects where she was an Office Manager, dealing with general office administrative duties, bookkeeping and basic HR duties. She joined Bono Infrastructure, Facilities and Project Management in February 2013 and has since gone from strength to strength. A perfectionist by nature and the “Woman behind the Scenes”.

Innocent

INNOCENT MTHEMBU Intern Quantity Surveyor

Is an intern Quantity Surveyor at Bono Infrastructure, Facilities and Project Management as from the beginning of the year 2014. He is currently doing his 2nd year at TUT (N Dip: Building Sciences) and he is looking forward in obtaining his BTech qualification in both quantity surveying and construction management. He is an inspired, hardworking young man.

THANDEKA MADI Intern Quantity Surveyor

Is an Intern at Bono Infrastructure, Facilities and Project Management; she joined the Bono team in January 2014 and is currently studying towards obtaining a National Diploma in Building Science as well as a BTech in Quantity Surveying at the Tshwane University of Technology.

FAITH KALIBBALA Environmental Officer

Faith Kalibbala is an Environmental Officer at Bono who obtained her Master’s degree in WEED Bio control at the University of Witswatersrand. She has been in the industry for the past 6 years and has gained exceptional experience from companies such as Nsovo Environmental Consulting as a Senior Environmental Scientist and at SiVEST SA (Pty) Ltd as an Environmental Scientist.

Tshifhiwa Dau Site Engineer
Tshifhiwa Dau is a Site Engineer for Bono who has a BTech in Real Estate (Property Management) from University of Johannesburg. Her professional experience include: Leasing management, Budget cost, Tenant Retention and Liaison etc. Tshifhiwa has been working for Bono since September 2014 and her career has been growing stronger and stronger.

ISAAC WETDEWICH Site Foreman / Health & Safety officer

Isaac Wetdewich has been working for Bono since August 2014 as a Site Foreman. He also has experience as a Health and Safety Officer from previous construction sites that he has worked on. Isaac also has experience in the mining industry, but he however is looking forward in extending his experience in the construction industry.

TREVOR MUKASWE Junior Engineer

Trevor Mukaswe has a Diploma in Civil Engineering from University of South Africa. He is currently completing his studies whilst working for Bono. Trevor is a dedicated individual fast learning and full of enthusiasm in completing tasks.

WILLIE JANSEN VAN RANSBURG Deputy Director: Quantity Surveying

Willie Jansen van Ransburg has a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying He has joined Bono Infrastructure, Facilities and Project Management team in June 2013 as the Deputy Director Quantity Surveying. His key areas in experience and expertise are Quantity Surveying and Construction Project Management.

Stanley
STANLEY MUNYIKWA Site Agent/ Junior Quantity Surveyor

Stanley Munyikwa has a National Diploma in Building Sciences from Tshwane University of Technology and is currently working on being registered as a Green Building Professional with the Green Building Council of South Africa. He is also advancing his studies in Quantity surveying at B-Tech level. He has previous experience with a project management company and he is an active role player in creating a sustainable environment, he has worked together with green building consultants who have constructed Upper Grayston Office Park in Sandton Johannesburg that has international standards green star rate office blocks.

MATOME RAMABU Junior Foreman

Matome Ramabu has been Bono’s Junior Foreman since the beginning of the year 2014. He has BTech in Management from Durban University of Technology as well as a Diploma in Bookeeping from PC Training & Business College. He has been in HR & Accounting for over 10 years and has gained experience from companies such as SAB & T as an Accountant, African National Congress as a Provincial Bookkeeper and at Sheriff Seshego Magistrate for Small Courts as Bookkeeper.

BRIAN MOLEFE Store Foreman / Health & Safety officer

Brian Molefe is a Store Foreman / Health & Safety officer for Bono he has been in the industry for 3 years and is still gaining experience whilst working for Bono. Brian is looking forward to extending his Health and Safety experience in the construction industry.
